@AlmightySmallest Have you tried changing the flags on it in Sims 4 Studio? (I'm not sure if that's what you mean by editing the .package.) If you've tried that and it still doesn't work, you're best off at the moment heading to a forum or server that does support for CC creation.
@AlmightySmallest It sounds to me like this is something you need support with from a creator-focused site. I'd also suggest trying a different ear preset download to see if this behaviour is just how ear presets are all working or just this one. It's not an issue I've seen discussed before, so it could be just this particular one. How old was the file originally?
the preset is only a year old i believe, and i had other ear presets that used to work. i read somewhere about something with the werewolf update messing up cc presets, and how aliens haven’t been fixed yet, likely due to not being very popular, so it’s likely just a bug that needs fixing.
@AlmightySmallest Seems like something worth raising with the creator. They may never have intended it for full occult use, and there may well be added steps needed to make it work there. Who is it, and what's the CC name?
Pretty sure the post is abandoned, but I found it thru someone who had used it on an alien sim, so it should work.

Sadly, we lost that creator to cancer in the fall, so she won't be updating it. It also doesn't seem to have gotten out of the "testing" mode. You might want to find a server/forum where requests for creators are encouraged (NOTE: many creators really don't like when random Simmers show up with requests) and ask if someone might be interested in adopting this mod.
