Are your non-default CC teeth reverting to basegame teeth too?

Like the title says, my non-default CC teeth are reverting back to basegame teeth when I leave CAS using the "play" button which is supposed to save any changes. I tested with default CC teeth and they work. Even some non-default CC teeth work. I can change to any pack or basegame teeth no problem though.

I have a similar problem with tattoos. CC tattoos revert to pack tattoos. And skin details when they are in brow details, cheeck details, eye details and mouth details. Changes just dont stick. It seems they all share the same problem which means its not the individual items or CC in general. It must be a CAS problem, right?

Found it:
The actual solution was a sims 4 studio batch fix. Last year the tool introduced an issue when using the "no CC on random" batch fix which removed the human tag. Thats why CC kept acting up since then. I updated the tool but was unaware of this bug. With the current version I ran the batch fix to add the human tag and the items remain when added in CAS.

Sims 4 studio had a bug last year that removed the human tag when using the "no CC on random" batch fix. Thats why downloading the CC again worked because originally it always has the human tag. Running the batch fix to add the human tag fixed the problem.

  • Zasz_Zerg This is the only report I've seen of this issue. Does it happen in a new save? If you have only your non-default CC teeth installed, and only one of them?

I tested this with a clean save that I use for events. Even without mods and with only a few CC non‑default teeth installed, the issue still occurs. Primarily I tested with Sewer Sims’ Ghoul teeth.

I have the same problem with tattoos and seperate face details which have a bug report.

Run a Game Repair (just to be sure your update is complete. Then redownload a fresh non-default teeth file. Try the ones by WightSpider on their Teeths Default page (Patreon or Curseforge). Test with only that installed.  Test only on human Sims, not occults.

Ran the repair, tested only with those. Those dont revert back in the clean save.

Moved those into my modded save. Re-downloaded the other teeth.

    Now they dont revert back.

    Make it make sense...

My theory is that using s4s and CAS display index batch fix might have something to do with it.
