How can I access my save to send it to you
I used your directions but I have so many saves! I went into the loading and hovered over to see which save! But I can’t tell by that. See attached photo.
is there another way to figure out which save this is. It is the last time I saved me game!
- @zandraa_d Hover over the little folder icon you see on the right side of your pic. That should give you the name of the save.

Checked your save and after loading the lot it was almost empty. So most of the stuff you used in there was cc. You will see the orange triangle above the lot when going back to the save with no mods/cc but it loaded just fine for me.
Did you do as my instructions said and tested with your save and NO cc/mods added back to see if you can load it then ? Yes, I'm aware that it will remove everything so backup the save before doing so but the only way to find what's causing the error for you is by weeding through your cc/mods or check the lists or mentions provided in this thread. If I did the sims 4 update thing would that help! I have a Mac and have so many mods that it would be impossible to figure that out!
- @zandraa_d The best thing is to try if it works without anything added at all. Do it on a backup of your save and see if it loads. If it does, it's a mod/cc (a lot have been mentioned in this thread and there's lists that have also been linked that can help you find the culprit)
It doesn't matter if you're on Mac or PC. The way to remove mods ist the same. I have the same problem as everyone else here with the same error code .. i removed ALL CC Beds and PC‘s .. doesnt work anyways .. (i dont use cc showers in the dorm)
when the dorm is uninhabited i can visit it in the build mode without problems .. but when my sims move in the error code appear ..
YES it works with sims in the dorm but without any cc .. but whats the point ☹️
any other idea beside the 50/50 or to play without cc ..?🙄
Ok thank you. I think my main question is what is causing custom content that works everywhere else in every works just not work in a university dorm? Because wouldn’t that mean it’s not a cc problem if all the cc content works fine in every build except the dorms. Doesn’t make sense to me!
- @dg_shawty 50/50 should be fairly quickly.
S4Studio has a batch fix for showers by now but not for beds. So i just think the problem is the game .. it has several problems and is not worked out yet ..
i just build a normal house in britchester and ask as many sims as i can to be my roommates .. same error .. i removed the cc bed that i used and now everything works fine .. sadly i dont live near the uni on the campus but its the best thing for now ..
i think they still have a lot to work on the game .. for example that you cannot change to a dorm of YOUR university (only when the semester begins)
anyways have found a good way to play (with CC, an roommates, ...) hope everyone else does so .. 🙂

Or just also send me zipped your mods folder as you already sent me the saves (please via PM, don't link here) Sure! So just the mods folder? Would I need to put it into google drive? Thank you!
- @zandraa_d Yes, put it on google drive (zip it first) and upload. MAybe you need to make multiple files, depending on the size.
