Re: [CC Related] Shoes On Werewolves

Hey guys. As frustrating as this whole thing with shoes is. I guess it could be worse. I came across this and just died laughing. The shoe problem is nothing compared to what this person had with CC content in Sims 4 with their werewolf. I don't know how this mishap happened, but after seeing this, I'm glad shoes is all I had a problem with!
Anyway, Thought you guys would get a kick out of it. Haha!!

(sorry if this is against the rules. Just trying to bring some amusement.)

@RoomOfAngel302 Yess haha we don't have it all too bad really xD
What I figured out for my sims is that any sim that ever had CC shoes on their everyday outfit might have a chance to get this issue.
My other sim has only worn in-game shoes and removing clothing for that one in CAS has solved the issue for him.
I removed all CC boots from that first sim and removed the boots in CAS from the werewolf, copied over the bare werewolf on all outfit slots but it still didn't fix it for that sim. The only other thing I can think of is when your sim has the ability control transforming you might be able to remove the clothing from that werewolf with MCCC.

Could someone with this issue upload their werewolf to the gallery and post the name here ?

This could be easily solved if werewolf form could get access to shoes.

  • @Zasz_Zerg i agree, i don't see why they can't. those new ripped up sneakers would be good for anyone who wants clothes on their weresims.
  • Here's the link to my werewolves that shoes the issue. I have 4,

but 2 i used in the 1st  4 pics were at work in the last pic.

This problem is affecting all of them.

I uploaded 5 images in total.
I uploaded them here so I can add more if needed
I hope this helps to bring you come clarity on this issue.
My name is Roomofangel302 on here.

I'm new at this. Do I post this all here or is the gallery somewhere else??

  • @Miovh  It's odd, because the shoes keep switching between them or they are wearing the same exact ones. It's definitely not the CC shoes i had on them originally before they became werewolves. That's for sure...

@barbedwirebutch Thanks. I'll check them out once I'm through AHQ :D

    EDIT
Downloaded your Sim and he has no shoes for me. Tested all the outfits.

@barbedwirebutch Yes but I thought for some they were then replaced with non-cc shoes instead. I'm still guessing this is a cc issue.

I used Sims 4 Studio to disable all CC for random. This in turn caused non-CC shoes to show up on my werewolf. I think this points towards the idea that it is a tag issue.

I haven't done the process of removing my CC or 50/50-ing it, only because something stupid like this happens with every single new patch.

I am pretty positive it's mod/CC related. S4S just updated with a few fixes for the patch, but the notes don't mention anything about fixing for this glitch we're all experiencing. Hopefully EA (lol at the thought) or another modder fixes this for us.

@Miovh "What I figured out for my sims is that any sim that ever had CC shoes on their everyday outfit might have a chance to get this issue."
That doesn't appear to be the case for me, as the sim that I have with this glitch has never worn CC shoes. What is also strange about my sim is I created him in CAS as a standard male wolf sim and assigned he/him pronouns, then when this glitch showed up he was suddenly renamed the same name as the female sim in the household, got changed to she/her pronouns and wolf form is now wearing high heels. I was able to go into CAS and correct the name and pronouns, but the shoes remain stubbornly stuck. (It's kinda funny, big beefy werewolf in white platform heels, lol) I'm currently using a mod that alters feet to look like canine feet to cosmetically cover up the glitch, though it's not perfect.

Was this issue ever fixed? I've just bought the Werewolves pack and to be honest the werewolves wearing shoes is just ridiculous. Is there a workaround/fix anyone knows of?

    Thanks!!
