Looks all fine in my game
Could you post a screenshot of your ingame graphic settings ?
Sure in the attached pictures here. I appreciate you taking a look at this crinrict, thank you. I'm starting to wonder if its something else outside my game but then again all my other games i play work just fine so I have no clue. Also I use a laptop so I just leave it on low so that it won't use so much power.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@panuncillo So I tried on your graphics settings (except resolution) and still couldn't duplicate so I guess that's also not it.
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post @panuncillo Hi! I hope you don't mind but I did some testing with your room as well. Thanks for sharing that! When I set my graphics options to match yours, I got a similar result though not the same.
When I set the Objects graphics to Medium, I still had a texture problem. However, the texture rendered properly when I used High setting for Objects and Laptop Mode is checked. So, I thought perhaps you could try this setting and see if it works for you without draining the battery too quickly.
It also rendered properly when I unchecked Laptop Mode and set the Objects setting back to Low, although some of the plants had coloring glitches when I panned the camera around.
Anyway, I'm thinking your issue is likely related to the graphics setting. Please let us know if changing these settings fixed the issue in your game.
@JonaO703, well that fixed it. Similarly to you, when I set the Objects graphics to Medium, I still had a texture problem. The texture too rendered properly when I used High setting for Objects and it also rendered properly when I unchecked Laptop Mode and set the Objects setting back to Low, and some of my plants too had coloring glitches when I panned the camera around. So I would say it's identical.
In terms of battery life time, my overall battery life time was reduced by about an hour, I guess that's the price to pay for resolving the issue...
Shout-out to @crinrict thanks for looking into this for a couple of days I really am grateful for the support. Thank you both.- crinrict2 years agoHero+@panuncillo Glad that helped you. I couldn't see anything even with laptop mode on. I do have a pretty high end computer so maybe it's just not happening for me at all.
Would you mind posting your specs anyways so EA can look into this and see on what kind of machines it happens ? @panuncillo I'm glad that helped. It's too bad that it's so draining on your battery though. Maybe you could leave your settings low and learn to live with the glitch? It actually doesn't look that bad. ;-)
@crinrict I'm attaching my DxDiag here. I hope it helps.Sure thing. Hope this will help out in the future. Thanks again everyone.

@crinrict Windows was telling me that my driver was up to date but when I went to the NVIDIA site, I did find a more recent version from April of this year. Unfortunately, installing the updated driver didn't change anything. I'm still seeing a weird texture with these settings. I wanted to share them here just in case I've missed something.
This is my view after the driver update that includes another room in which I placed a couple more vertical planters.I'm also attaching an updated DxDiag in case that helps.
@panuncillo @crinrict I realize this is a bit old now but I wanted to give an update because there was a new driver update from NVIDIA from a few days ago. After installing this latest driver update, I do not have the weird texture in my game.
My current graphics options for testing...This is my view of the Pan's Greenhouse...
I've also attached an updated DxDiag.
