I've tried a couple different saves making sure nothing was edited or charged in any of the neighborhoods where festivals happen. None of spawning still. And it's not just in the city. The Snowy Escape festivals aren't spawning either.
No messages come up when they're supposed to start. None are showing in the calendar. City living festivals don't show on info boards. The snowy escape boards just give the general message about those festivals.
I made a home in the snowy escape world. I didn't know we weren't supposed to edit that world. When I go to the snow festival, nothing is there. When I go to the youth festival, the stuff is there but there are no people and yamachan is not there
Hi. Is there an update as to why the festivals are gone?
I have mods and cc installed but the problem persists even without mods.
I also edited lots in San Myshuno. Is there a way to get the festivals back?
Hi @emaplatis If you edited neighborhood areas using TOOL Mod, you may have caused Festival problems with that. You might want to get support from that from the creator. Otherwise, if you're removing the Mods folder to test, make sure to also delete localthumbcache. Testing in a new game is worth a try too.
Thanks @luthienrising. I didn't edit the lots with TOOL. I just renovated the apartments with some re-builds from the gallery. I also tried in a new game, deleted localthumbcahce and removed all mods. It just shows I have only Sports Days as festivals and there is no festival info on the apartments boards. I also only get Finwick festival.
I also re installed the game without HSY and Cottage Living first to see if they were causing the issue and it was still the same..... Do you have any other ideas?
Let's have a go at refreshing the whole game folder and test a new save then the old one, and one earlier version: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Open "New" and see how that is. Now exit, drag just the new save into the new Saves folder and try again. If that one is still bugged, try testing an earlier version of that save.
the festivals not showing after i download cottage living pack please i need help
@everglowsim Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
I tried to do what you say but nothing happened the problem is not because of my mods
@everglowsim Try running a Game Repair in the EA App (or the equivalent in Steam) to see if it was just an issue with downloading the program.
Are you on PC or Mac?

PC and no I don’t have any errors, city living , cottage living , high school years and snowy escape festivals it shows and have no problems with it but other packages festivals did not show at all even if i saw the tutorial there is no “festival “ word on it !
@everglowsim Perhaps you're not looking for the right thing in Cottage Living? It doesn't have something called a "Festival". It has "fairs".
