Re: Game crashes & I can't place walls/fences in BB mode - Mods broken
Hey guys - first time posting so forgive me if I get the format wrong.
Since the Life & Death game patch update I have had issues with Sims. I do use a bunch of CC & Script Mods. The game works without anything in the mods folder, so I am 99% sure it's an individual, or a few files that are corrupted or out of date.
I'm used to the game being slow and sometimes lagging because of the amount that I use (that's fine tbh), but it won't let me place walls or fences, primarily. Also, sometimes the whole game crashes. Literally the only way I can get it to work (with mods) is by only having like,,,, two or three collections of mods in the Sims 4 Mods folder. And even then sometimes the game won't let me save without freezing the game screen on "loading" forever - same with saving a household/lot to my library. Generally though, I could go few and find the broken mod, even if it takes forever, but this time round it will sometimes let the game work, and then when I add more mod files (different ones every time) to test which one is the issue, the whole game will crash again. But I can't narrow it down to only one or two mods...
I have:
- Repaired the game multiple times
- Taken out the mods folder and replaced it
- Updated all the "big" mods (like TOOL, BBB, Zerbu All Worlds Residential)
- Made a new save
- Updated the computer graphics drivers
Sorry if this is confusing! I would really be thankful for any help...
Any advice on what could get my game working?
