@zandracool You say you removed CC, but try a full reset of the folder: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Exit and copy your save files into the new folder. Now see if you can get in. If you can't, try if you can restore an earlier version of the save.
