Hello, I have the same problem and I can't solve it with the solution above. I don't have any mods in the folder.

@stacybarhat To clarify, do you play with no mods and no custom content at all? Nothing in the Mods folder?

I have these add-ons that are listed in the screenshot. And only this file is in the folder.

@stacybarhat I'm asking about the content of your Mods folder. Sometimes when people tell us they have no mods, they do have things like custom hair. Do you have files in the folder Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods other than resource.cfg?

@stacybarhat That screenshot is of Maxis-created game add-ons in the EA App, not of a folder. Your Mods folder is not in the EA App or Origin. It's the folder Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Mods. You've never downloaded any player-created mods or custom content (hair, clothes, etc.), then? You play with only what you buy from EA?

@stacybarhat I need to see the version inside the game itself, because it shows the full pathway. The version from the app doesn't show the full pathway.

Also, do you use OneDrive at all? If you do, you might have two Mods folders and the one you think you're removing mods from isn't the one the game sees. This is the reason for using the checking method that shows the complete pathway, including what Documents is inside of.

I have 0 mods, and i'm having the same problem.
