@crinrict Yes, new save game too. No custom careers were used in this save at any point. I did change speed, but I've never gotten a LE on mod removal before. I removed my mods temporarily to test for the wallpaper randomizing glitch.

@RickxAbsinthe43 According to the MCCC discord this is related to the time speed change: get_next_work_time (from the LE) in connection with active careers
Changing the time speed is very dangerous and can cause your save to corrupt for good. Not sure why it happens on a new save though.
Did you do a folder rename and then start a new save (from scratch) and it still happened ? - RickxAbsinthe434 years agoRising Hotshot@crinrict I didn't do that but when I quit the Interior Designer career the last exception went away. It only happened with this career, and the test save never had the MCCC time settings enabled. It was a fresh unmodded save
- crinrict4 years agoHero+@RickxAbsinthe43 Probably cause that's the active career that's causing the error.
If you put the Sim back in the career, does it come back ? - RickxAbsinthe434 years agoRising Hotshot@crinrict I put the Sim back in the career and loaded my game with no mods. No error

- RickxAbsinthe434 years agoRising Hotshot@crinrict Yes I could try that. I'm chatting on Discord right now about time speed and it looks like it is a risky setting
- RickxAbsinthe434 years agoRising Hotshot@crinrict Did the same in the other save. No errors. I wasn't sure if it was a bug with the new career but it could very well be the time settings. I'm going to default my settings and start a fresh save. Thank you for your help.
- crinrict4 years agoHero+@RickxAbsinthe43 Moving this to tech for now.
Just bump this if it occurs again. Make sure to tag me. Hi, do you think you could help me? I'm having this same issue, I tried deleting my entire mods folder and my game doesn't load after I open a new save file.
(I'm not able to copy and paste my LE file since when I try to, the page becomes unresponsive, so can I contact you?)
Hi @Ashnorly. Some mods can't be removed that easily, unfortunately. If you had cookbook-type mods, for example, you need to delete plates and food first and save, then you can delete those mods.
SInce you *did* have mods/CC when you got an LE, you can start by checking the ones you use to see if they're known to be broken or have been updated. The Broken/Updated Mods list can get you partway there, and is often enough.
