@Marceleryy To confirm it's a mod issue, you can test vanilla .

I took the mods out and there's not the black main menu startup but my game is running slower probably due to my computer version. I know it's probably a UI mod causing this issue but I'm not necessarily sure which one it could be and when I search up UI nothing comes up in my Mods folder so I don't have a particular mod I could navigate linked with this.
@Marceleryy Start at the lists in Broken/Updated Mods & CC . If your issue is not solved by those, you can use the 50-50 method. A black startup is not usually a UI mod.
Before I do the 50/50 method, what's the typical mods that inflict black screen startups?

- @luthienrising i discovered it's most likely a cas cc issue but i don't know how to 50/50 without it being too time consuming - do you have advice for this?
@Marceleryy 50-50'ing is the fast method. You're testing an entire half of your mods to start, then breaking it down from there.
