just updated my game and suddenly I can’t play my households. It just reloads me back onto the residential world screen instead of loading me into my house. Anyone else having this problem?

i’m having the same issue, i get to the world screen and when i click play it just takes me back each time. i’ve tried taking out all my mods and that didn’t work, and worked through them all to see if anything is broken and nothing seems to be fixing it
me too. gives me a 122 error code. I tried ea help center and the webpage is not loading. I think it is their issue

Same here for me! I remember this was happening when they switched from Direct 9 to Direct 11. An this update mentions them updating the Direct 11 stuff again ...

I'm having this issue but it's mod related. Still unsure which mod is causing the problem, but I recommend removing your mod folder (not just disabling in settings) and checking if the issue still persists. I tested with mods and then tested again after removing the mod folder from my sims4 folder and the issue vanished.
Same here! I got an error message about a "Break Point" a couple of times when trying to load rental lots, but in general the game just crashes and I cannot play, even in a fresh save and with all mods taken out. Personally, I'm just about at my "break point" with this game

yes. after many hours of removing mods etc. it seems it is happening when i enable my script mods, ( game ran with my saves and mods, so long as the options menu, i unlicked the script mods box) and i do believe it is fairies vs witches. Im sad, and frustrated. started the game at least thirty times today... wish they would just leave it alone... honestly like that mod more than anything EA has released lol
No mods no way not going back to vanilla just will not play till it fixed and I can use my mods again

Same. I am sick of the 900 updates, dlcs, no sims5. I really feel like Ea dont care about the gamers and more about their shareholders.
Having the same issue and I think that for me is mod related. When I remove mods it works sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t. and I read on the mod list it has something to do with mods made with zerbus mod constructor. EA always fix 5 bugs only to add 100 new ones with these updates, it’s not even worth paying it anymore.
Same. It’s probably mod related, as when I turned off script mods my game worked again.

Same problem here. This needs to be fixed asap, I'm not playing without mods because this game is terrible without them. I really need to stop buying their content if they just keep on breaking their own game.

Mine was working - then I purchased the life / death pack and now back to the problem..
Time to quit sims for another 2 years - this is insane.
