This is definitely mod related rename your mods folder make a new mods folder and gradually move your mods back it is more than likely a script mod doing this. mine was littlemissam mods.

I'll try this later as it's almost 2 am for me now and I've spent hours trying to dig into this haha, I was trying so hard to convince myself it wasn't my mods but I guess I can't escape the truth haha :( thankyou! This'll be so painfully time consuming as I use soooo many mods, over 1,000 at this point but ik it's probably the only solution!

wlilzplays​  I thought you said you removed all your mods and still had this issue?  If you didn't, please don't say that—it means people will waste their time and yours hunting for a problem that doesn't exist because the real problem is mods.

Which mod what the problem for you,i have the same issue but dont  wanna remove every mod.

I did!- but it kept crashing anyway. No harm to try just incase but yes it didn't work, still stuck 😔 I knew it would be pointless but honestly just trying anything at this point

Okay so from what I've seen if you're getting a bug where you're sent back to world selection after attempting to load a household then it is most likely a mod. Specifically mods that are made using Zerbu's mod constructor are having this issue big time. Mods that use ZMC are often custom CAS traits, aspirations, lot traits etc... I did the 50/50 method and realized that it was littlemissam custom lot traits that were causing the issue. Hope this helps anyone. (I also recommend using scarlets realm and the sims after dark discord server for the most up to date information on mods and their status)
