I don't know if it's just me or what, but why is it that when I have a family and everything seems great, but I want to play at their house, I get kicked out? I've checked my internet connection, updated the Sims, and everything seems fine, so what's going on? Please help.
Are you a mod user? The August 2025 patch (1.117) broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117 as a second starting point, but note many were updated for patch 1.118 and/or are not yet cleared in the current list (for links, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE).
