Re: [PROBABLY CC RELATED] Male sim wearing a bra

For everyone who has the problem and hasn't found a solution yet.
I had the same problem, probably for a long time. However, I only noticed it yesterday when I wanted to create a new male sim.

The cause of  the problem is definitely CC, because without CC it was gone for me.

Yesterday and today I tried to solve the problem for several hours, despite many solutions, the "bra" problem persisted.

Then when I was playing around with Sims4Studio I found the solution.
Many CC garments do not have gender tags.

The solution is to not allow the game from using women's clothing items for men.

1.Download Sims4 Studio
2. Open it
3. Go to the "My CC" tab on the right
4. In your CC list find the clothing (or several) that the man are wearing in cas
5. Click it
6. In the next window that opens, scroll all the way down to the "Part Flags" option

7. There are 3 choices: "Allow for randoms" , "restrict opposite gender" and "restrict opposite frame"
8. Click "restrict opposite gender".
9. Click on "apply to all swatches"
10. Click "Save"

This stops the game from automatically using female clothing for males in the cas, and thus also removes the bra and female panties from men.
Of course you can still use women's clothes for men if you want, if you set the filter accordingly in cas under clothing in the options.
But the bra problem itself can only be solved by editing the cc item in sims4studio and assigning manual tags.

  • The bra in question is showing up as default bra in cas, like when you remove a shirt etc.

  • Yes and it's caused by the grimcookies  default replacement bra (a CC), so find that, and follow the instructions in the above comment. It worked for me.
