Re: San myshuno map bugged

@lumi3437

You may have tried this, but you didn't say.  So, let's do a user folder reset by renaming or moving the "The Sims 4" folder elsewhere out of the game path.  Start the game and a new one will be created.  Check San Myshuno in the new save.  If it is ok, then the game is loading as it should.

Next, copy or move your existing save to the new user folder.  Start the game and load that save file.  Check San Myshuno and if it is the same as you show in your pic, then it's the save that is bad.  You might be able to save your households and some of your builds by saving them to your Library and adding them back in the new game.  If it isn't and everything looks normal, then start loading in your mods and CC slowly.  Test everything.  If the problem comes back as you do that, you've found your problem file and should delete it.  It might take another folder to get back to playing that save since the issue you are showing in the pick might not go away just by removing the bad mod or mods.

Hope this helps.

  • um...so I figured out what was the problem. Seems like in the world management screen there are TWO san myshunos. (No idea how-) The bugged one was always at the top while the normal one at the bottom. Thank you for the reply though! If it weren't for me trying this out I never would've noticed. I think this bug is another bug in itself but it doesn't affect gameplay so I'm fine with it. Thanks!

    2 San Myshunos???  That shouldn't happen, you should only have one.  It could be a serious issue, if not now, then later on if you continue to play the save.

    If you start a new save without anything in the mods folder but the resource.cfg file, do you have 2 San Myshunos then?  If you do and since you already did a full reinstall, it shouldn't be happening. If it is, then there has to be something in your mods folder that is not playing well with the game.  I have no idea what could be causing this really, but a mod is the most likely reason.

    Hope this helps
