Re: sim keep doing whatever they want

I just tried repairing the game but nothing changed, I made the sim study archeology but as soon as they sit down they stopped and proceeded to do other things.

I forgot to mention that the only time, so far, that they do exactly want I want is when they have nothing around (like when they have finished a lesson and are standing outside the building) even if, sometimes, they start using the future cube (that they had only once in the inventory and I sold immediately it but it keeps appearing... I've sold dozens of these things but they keep pulling out another one from who knows where...)

I agree with you that is Eco pack's fault... I followed your instructions but the sim keeps doing anything but the things I want... the future cubes keep on appearing in the inventory, they want to play violin, bake a cake and so on...

I also disable the second option for the eco pack just to try and as you might guess it's still the same...

I guess I have to bear these things or start with another family (hoping that this doesn't happen again)... I don't want to uninstall the pack since I've spent money on it but it seems like I have no other options...

I have this same problem and using my saved sims and lot in a new world with eco disabled didn't solve the problem. It's like my sims and lot was corrupted by eco lifystyle, uploading and downloading into a new world didn't help me.  It's a game breaking pack that needs to be patched asap. 

@kreatora, as I said before, I followed your instructions to the letter, I even tried at least 3 times, once after choosing the season and the town but before the lot, then before choosing the town and at last before choosing the season (every time with a different save) and I keep having the same issue.

Unlike @Spektir I only saved the sim and not the lot just to be sure but it doesn't resolve anything... 

I agree with Spektir about the pack needing to be patched...
