Re: Sims 4 saved games disappeared after playing scenario

Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:

find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

    Just want to add i had a household or sims world and when i clicked to start a scenario, i think it merged? or something because i see my sims character in my first world in the scenarios (i made friends with her) but i cant play my original world, when i click load games it only shows the scenario world. I want to play both? is that even possible or is my original just wiped out bc i started a scenario with a different sim?

    You have OneDrive sync enabled which may be causing the problem. You have your Sims 4/saves in two locations, in the OneDrive folder and in your Documents folder. The game will only look in the Documents folder for saves to load.

    You may have the OneDrive equivalent of this iCloud Drive issue when disk space is low https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared/m-p/8071682#M50294

    @Bluebellflora No i saved a backup on my onedrive, which i did myself not onedrive. Thank you anyways ive already fixed it bc of another post w the same issue
