Re: sims won't drink

@crinrict hi. yeah. I figured the real problem may be because of their home. I moved the household in a different home and they never got the glitch again. however, it only works in homes that are cc-free. moved them in a home with CCs, and the glitch is back again. do you have any idea how to fix this? cause I'd love to play it in this particular home with CCs.

@RebekahHarkness you will need to figure out which cc is causing it.

try starting with the items they use for drinking that are cc and if that doesn't let you find it, it's best to delete room by room (work on a backup of your save and save the house to the library before you start deleting stuff)

It seems to me to be a routing error. This is no different than when I tried to make my sim jog, they'd jog 5 feet then cancel, over and over again. As a fix for sims freezing and needing to be reset, they auto reset sims and something about them drinking was messing up routing. It likely will work on the original game if you give it 12 hours or a day of play time. My sim could jog before those resets and afterwards as well, just not in that time period despite being alone at the house. Maybe something about Agnes Crumplebottom having a stroll was creating routing issues for you to drink.

@crinrict hii. it seems like it doesn't accept cc items at all. I'm not sure what's the problem. I don't think anyone's having the same problem as me.

@VeronicatheCD hii. nope. I don't think this fixes it either. the sims still neither drinks nor eats.
