"React To Pet Gift" Glitch, But The Gift Is Not There & It Bugs Sims
Sorry, this is my first post so I do not know how this all works yet, apologies for any mistakes I might make.
I have tried to search the web for the answer to the as I usually always find the answer... but not this time.
So I have this weird "React to pet gift" glitch where whenever a sim enters this room, they want to react to this pet gift, which is no longer there.
As a result of this, they want to react to it, then they have the "I can't do that/move there" speech bubble pop up. They want to react to the pet gift again and the cycle goes on.
The only way I know how to stop it is to make them "go here" and make them go far enough out of range. This does not fix the issues and when they go anywhere near the room, it happens again.
I have repaired the game, I have reset the sim, I have deleted the floor and replaced it, I have left the lot... I do not know what else to try as I am not as tech-savvy as I would like to be haha.
From my knowledge, the pet gift is nowhere to be physically seen so I cannot "reset debug object". I know it is there, but its glitched and invisible, but I do not know how to fix this.
I don't have any mods installed but I do have the Vampire and Parenthood Game Packs and the Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack.

Update:
I figured out the problem. So I deleted the entire room and the pet gift seemed to be right under the foundation near the outside of it.
Now that I think about it. I remember picking up the pet gift and dragging it to my inventory right as a sim was trying to open it. I think it glitched and the direction in which I was dragging it to my inventory was in the direction the pet gift was under the foundation.
Just in case anyone else has this issue, here is the answer. I think this could be applied to any object that can be put into your inventory.
