Well you can easily remove mods/CC with the Curseforge app. The problem is if the CC is so broken you won't be able to see what needs to be removed. In this case I would recommend the Tray Importer method. Timestamp @ 4:40 & link to the tool in video description. This overall video is quite helpful actually.
