I have a whole guide on editing screenshots without ReShade/GShade here that might be helpful? Possibly? Also, it might be worth looking into GShade since I find it's easier on my laptop then ReShade was. I swapped from ReShade for that reason.
Before I could use it, I used to just edit brightness/contrast, and add a light colour overlay to outdoor pictures to brighten them up a bit for all the 'regular' screenshots which didn't need additional effects.
