ReShade/GShade .dll deleted when Sims 4 loads

From Today my Gshade won´t show up in game. Is anybody else having the same problem? I´ve tried reinstalling it multiple times but nothing works. edited title for visibility.  -puzzlezaddict

    Hey all!

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We found that this issue was an unintended side effect of a recent update to the EA app and how it handles certain DLL types. 

    Installing the latest available version of the EA app should resolve the problem; you also might need to reinstall your shader mods after updating the EA app.

I'm having the same problem, thank goodness there's people here confirming the same issue so I know I'm not just dumb, lol. 

I initially was using gshade and noticed it broke today after the hotfix. I tried everything I would normally do to fix a failed injector (adding the dll to my antivirus exceptions, installing the latest version of gshade, running the game as Admin, and so on). No luck.

Well, since gshade's been discontinued for the longest time now, I decided to switch back to reshade, figuring the latest version of reshade would work. Nope. Same problem.

What happens exactly is that the dll hook gets deleted when launching the game. Normally, it's your antivirus that will do this but I'm 99% sure it's the game itself or the EA App deleting the hook.
