Resurrected Sim Wont Return To Household

So I play the Sims 4 on an Xbox Series S. My current playthrough is a family of 6. My sims teenage son was fixing a dryer when he suddenly got electrocuted and died. Understandable, but I panicked. I have a sim i made in another household make an abrosia to revive him, but since his ghost was taking a long time to show up, I instead went to another household. This sim is a sim I made from the realm of magic and I nearly maxed out all her spells. I had her go over to my main family's household to resurrect him and it worked, until I switched back to the family and he wasnt part of the household. He was alive and roaming the house, but I couldn't control him. When I clicked on him I noticed it said send home, so I clicked it but then he just disappeared. I figured he resurrected into another household so I checked all the possible households I could but he wasnt in a single one. I restarted my game, I tried managing my households, I have even tried using cheats to add him back into my household but nothing is working. I found out that you're not able to add teenagers or other kids without their parents so maybe thats why its not working. In short... MY SON DIED AND WHEN I RESURRECTED HIM HES NOT IN MY HOUSEHOLD, PLEASE GIVE ME MY SON BACK AND HIS ALIVE SELF IS HAUNTING ME
