Saved game doesn't load - crashes sims 4 during loading screen

So I played normally yesterday, but today when I try to load my game, it loads for about a minute and then crashes entirely. So sims 4 does open, I do get to click "resume", but my game doesn't start...

thank you for your reply! I dragged the mods folder to desktop, game worked, then put my mods folders back in one by one. Strangely though, I ended up with ALL my mods back in my folder, but the game does work again!

@ABC4229 Awesome! There's a chance the game just needed a new folder? It happens, but less often than the mods themselves being the issue. Keep an eye on pinned topics for mod/CC updates! It'll help prevent other kinds of issues.
