Saves after 4/18 update

You have two individual saves:
/Users/chinyereigwe/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save /Users/chinyereigwe/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000001.save
The rest are backups. This search would have looked in every nook and cranny of your Mac user account which is why I asked you to do it, to check any residual saves anywhere in iCloud or which may have been moved somewhere else by mistake.
Do you have any other user accounts on your Mac?

The saves were confusing but I clicked on the 'get info' to see the time/date stamps on each and there were a few on apr 19 and 20 as well as some randoms back from 2017 however I don’t see any from like apr 18th and before

Apart from those two there are no other saves on your Mac, unless you have renamed them? The files ending .ver are backups of the two save files.i've never looked in this file before let alone touched/renamed them.
