Scenario flag on Save file thumbnail

I don't know if this is the right place to post or if anyone can help me but ...

I started a new scenario (Supervillan one) in an existing save file but decided I didn't want to complete it so deleted the Sim I'd created for it out of my game.  However, the purple scenario flag is still showing on the thumbnail for the save file and if I hover over the flag it says I have active scenarios in the save, which I don't!  

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this if I don't have an active scenario in the save?

    So I just opened my game up and deleted all randomly generated townies from the save, leaving behind only my families and the families that shipped with the packs I own and somehow that seems to have done the trick and the icon is gone.  I guess I still had a scenario sim household still in there without realising it.

    @JuniperWhimsy I've never played a scenario personally so I'm not sure how you can get rid of it but to sure, the scenario isn't active on any household in your save anymore ?

    This was only the second scenario I've ever played so I'm unfamiliar with them too.

    It happened a few months ago - I created a new household specifically for the Supervillain scenario, played with it for less than an hour before deciding I didn't want to continue and then completely deleted the household.  I assumed the scenario would be deleted when I deleted the sim household I created for it, however the icon is still hanging around.  I haven't started any other scenarios in the save file either, so the scenario shouldn't be active on any other households in the save.
