September 18th update not loading my saved games

So, I had just updated my game to the newest update. I load in, click the continue button on my saved sims from the other day, and it loaded me into the house I had, but didn't show up with my sims i had made. It has the house up for sale when I clearly had sims in that house that I made?? I don't want to make a new sim, just to get it to work again. I want to continue my old saved game. Kinda weird, but if anyone can help me figure out why it won't load, that would be appreciated. I would post a picture, but it wont let me.
