show hidden objects and show live edit objects cheat won't work :(

I've been having this issue since around September I believe. Every time I try to use these cheats, nothing happens. I always make sure my cheats are enabled. I've tried to uninstall and install it again, but nothing has changed. I've deleted all my cc and that still didn't help. I don't know what to do. I've tried deleting my profile entirely but it turns out that was just a waste of time, so now I'm here, asking online as a last-ditch effort. So, what do I do??

Edit: it turns out I'm an idiot. Always make sure the mods you delete are deleted from your mod folder too, kids.
