Side Bar/menu Bar Not Showinf

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? every time i go into the build mode my side bar disappears and i can’t pause my game or cancel my sims actions
What happens when the bug occurs? game continues to play without the side bar popping up
What do you expect to see? my side bar to always appear and not appearing when i go into build mode
