Sim Can No Longer Tend Garden, But Others Can...
I'm really struggling. I have a save file that corrupted so that I was no longer able to "Tend Garden" or "Water All" or "Harvest All". Tend Garden didn't work at all, the others would only work on one plant. I went back to an old save - literally gave up a week of Sim time and 2 days of play - to recover an old save before the corruption. This was after I tried factory resetting and realized it was a problem with the save.
It all started working again, but then stops. I've tested it extensively, and it keeps happening on the same day. At first I thought it was when I aged up my toddler, but then I tried without aging her up and it stopped working again. That's when I realized that it stops working after the thunderstorm passes. So basically, no matter what I do the save becomes corrupted. I took out MCCC as well, to see if that helps. That's the only script mod I use, and I have minimal custom content (of which I had even fewer the first time this happened and then I needed a recolor for this family). But all this stuff was happening and issue with and without that content, as well. I don't know what to do to get the game to stop corrupting - this has never happened to me before with any of my other games. I've tried basically everything I can think of, lost game progress, reset, etc. Does anyone else know something I could do so that I can keep playing without losing this functionality?
//I've also attempted going back and doing a "Save As", to make it a "new" game. And I tried playing on a different lot and different family during the time I know the action stops working, but when I went back to the family, it still had stopped working. Please, if someone has thoughts I could really use them, because I want to keep playing on this game and not start a new legacy, but this is a real hindrance to the way I'm currently playing the game.
///I changed the title of this thread cause I'm not really sure it's a corrupt save file anymore. And apologize if there's another thread on this, now, as it might be something different, but originally I couldn't find anything that was addressing what I thought I was dealing with.
