Sim getting moodlets from a trait they don't have.

For the longest time, a lot of my sims in multiple different saves that are in a relationship with each other will get moodlets from a trait they don't have and never had. Specifically the "Smothered" moodlet from the Noncommittal trait. Most of the time I'll use the UI Cheats mod to get rid of the moodlet, but it always ends up coming back. It gets to a point and whatever is causing it should be fixed eventually. I don't believe it could be one of my mods, especially considering I keep them up to date and I've been having this issue for months. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it's likely other people have had this issue too.

there are certain circumstances where this occurs on vanilla (like gallery downloads) but if you remove them with a mod, it becomes a mod issue.

I also get that moodlet from a sim without the non-commital trait. It keeps appearing every time he gets in a relationship. He's family oriented, loyal and neat.

Laura3087 Was that a Sim you made yourself, who never had that trait? If it's a Gallery Sim, they might have had that trait at some point and it was removed in a way that leaves artifacts of it there.

It was a sim I made myself. That sim has never had the non-committal trait

Laura3087 Is this mod-free? If you have mods, please try renaming the mods folder and deleting the localthumbcache file, then play to see if you still have the issue (this is needed for making sure it's not a mod causing the moodlet error). You can check if it happens in your regular game play (don't save!) and in a new save.
