sim not going to work

Welll, I know this question was posted a couple times on this forum, but absolutely nothing has worked for me so far so.. maybe someone has another idea for me. 

Basically my sims won't go to work anymore.. it's not even a stuck or cancelled interaction, the game just acts like they're not supposed to go to work at all. The timer switches from 'Work in .. minutes' to 'Work in 24 hours', sim doesn't get a missing work notification and the button 'Go To Work' also doesn't appear.. I thought there might be an option to send the sim to work when you click on them, but that doesn't exist either. 

I've restarted, repaired, took out mods completely, repaired again, quit/rejoined the career, travelled to anther lot, tried a new save.. nothing :/

If anyone has any idea for me, please help! Thank youuu

    @joshispeeta Is it just that one Sim you have issues with ? Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods/cc ?

    It's both sims, in different careers and I've deleted localthumcache each time..

    I've tried completely removing the Sims 4 file and starting on a fresh game, that works.

    I added my save back into that game (sans mods) and tested again, weirdly University works fine but the game still acts as if they're jobless. Still no 'missing work', or anything.. 

    It's been spitting out a lastexception file for me everytime it comes time for work though, and I've run it through the lastexception website, that only gives me about twenty 'Unknown errors'. 

    I had a look into the lastexception file myself but do not understand a thing about coding haha.. the only thing I noticed was this string, which seems to be work related.. ahh

    (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'time_off_work')

    @crinrict Hi I've had this same issue for a while. I have some holidays I created but they are not on the days I am experiencing this issue. This is what my last exception file contains when I have mods, but I am still experiencing this when I remove them and delete my localthumbcache. I have MCCommand installed and Turbodriver's simulation lag fix, those are the only mods that effect gameplay, everything else is clothing.

    Hi @cassydreamer Are you sure you don't have a custom holiday in there somewhere? See what happens if you test without mods or CC (delete localthumbcache and drag your Mods folder to the desktop).

    did you get this problem solved ? I got this glitch in a save I downloaded.
