Sims 4 Computer Team Captain, Teen Aspiration shows level 2/3 so he can't finish

I'm working on a parenting challenge and my sim needs to pass a teenage aspiration.  He needed a side gig and joined the computer team.  He reached Team Captain but the aspiration still says he's level 2/3.  How to I correct this?

I've been playing for days trying to get him to another level and finally saw that Team Captain is level 3.  The other teen aspirations are not his style and I don't know if I even have time for him to complete it.  The whole town is trying to get him to graduate early.
