Sims 4 Corrupted File

I've been playing the sims 4 on my MacBook for years, just this week I got a PC (Dell). I downloaded the sims on this new computer and when it finished loading I pressed play and the game opened and loaded fine. I've spent the last couple of days moving my tray, saves, and mods folder over from my MacBook to the new computer but when I tried opening the sims I get a pop up saying its unable to start due to a file being corrupted, I take the file out and try again, I get another pop up saying a different file is corrupted. I end up taking out like 5 different files that are apparently corrupted before I decide to take the entire mods folder out of my game, once the folder was take out my game opened like normal. I then put 1 piece of CC into the new mods folder created and my game once again said that the file is corrupted. If anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know, I took my 4 days to move everything to this new computer and this is just really disappointing.

Unfortunately I already deleted my mods and cc from my Mac, but when I did transfer them over to the PC it was just the mods files themselves in batches and not the entire folder at once

You could always check your the trash on your Mac to see whether the files are present, but if they're not, you'll unfortunately need to download fresh copies of everything.  There's no way to fix a mod or cc file once it's been corrupted.

Have to download fresh copies was my biggest fear honestly, but thank you very much for your help!
