Sims 4 Crashing when trying to load specific household in Sulani

Hello, I've recently got back into playing my legacy save and ran into some trouble when trying to load one of my households in Sulani. Basically, when I'm in manage worlds and try to play as that specific household the game goes to the loading screen for 2 seconds, then crashes. I'm able to load my other households in that world so I'm not entirely sure what the issue would be. All my mods are up to date, but I'm not ruling out my CC as I have a lot of it so maybe that has something to do with it? I've also noticed that a text file appears in the Sims 4 folder after each crash, but when I try to attach it to the post it says " Correct the highlighted errors and try again. The attachment's lastcrash.txt content type (text/plain) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

I appreciate any help, thank you!

  • @colorclaw  I can't make much out of a lastcrash; a lastexception would (probably) be more informative.  Did you get one when loading the home lot?

I would also note that the lastcrash says your game is modded, so it's worth testing without your Mods folder.  You don't need to save your progress.

  • @colorclaw  Does the lot in question use the Off the Grid challenge?  If so, please remove it, which you can do in Build mode via Manage Worlds.

If that doesn't help, the lastexception would be interesting, but please delete your current one(s) and let the game create a fresh file.  You can upload the .txt file if you delete the LE's first line, or you can copy the text and paste it into a reply here.  (Please use a spoiler tag in that case.)

Hello, thank you for the response. The lot does not use the off the grid challenge. However, I was able to play as one of the sims from the household because they were at another lot, but when I tried to return home the game went to the loading screen for a little longer then usual then proceeded to crash.

I've attached the most recent crash .txt file to this post
