Sims 4 crashing with reshade

Hi, so i just bought a new laptop to play the sims on so i could have reshade. It's an asus vivobook with windows 10. I downloaded reshade and it worked fine up until I chose a preset that I had downloaded, then it crashed. Now everytime I open the Sims it crashes immediately on the welcome screen. I have already tried renaming the d3d9 files, but when I do that, reshade literally just disappears. I have Reshade 6.1.1, so it's up to date, and the graphics driver is up to date too. I also have tried deleting the preset from my laptop but that didn't help either. I reinstalled Reshade already as well and it's still broken..any help?

    @anyasheep13 When the game updates, there are changes to make for ReShade as well (or so I understand). If those or removing/changing a preset aren't working for you yet with Sims 4, you'll need to get support with it from a ReShade forum. ReShade isn't just a mod and isn't something we're able to support Sims integration with here. You need people who really know ReShade well for that. My understanding is that there are things you need to do in ReShade to fully remove a preset. You might even just want to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of it.
