(SIMS 4) freezes after deleting items in build mode ? Forces me to quit. no save

During gameplay and build mode, the game suddenly freezes, randomly. doesn't allow me to delete items, and then freezes forcing me to force close it with task manager. I got halfway through a build and nothing saved...This is extremely frustrating and I reinstalled the game 2x and no fix...I put my mods in a seperate folder, checked my antivirus, nothing is giving me a solution. I use Steam but even tried to uninstall steam and the EA app and still have no luck I deleted everything, all my saves are gone and It all started yesterday out of nowhere. (been playing for two months with no issues) I spent a lot of money on the expansion packs which added up over 100 dollars and so I am really mad and need a solution.
