Sims 4 Household Completely Gone

The household is also no where in Manage Households, even in the Other Households tab.What do you expect to see?&nbsp;I expect to see the green symbol above the apartment that my sims occupied and that the unit they lived in would have them living in it.Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?&nbsp;Yes but I removed all of them, deleted thumbcache file, and repaired game to test already.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?&nbsp;NoI had played this household just a few hours prior and saved as always before I closed the game. When I opened the game back up again later and entered my save file, the household has completely disappeared from the save file. However, the apartment that they had occupied still has all the furniture I added with the household living there, and all my previously played households (that I later marked unplayed) still exist. I played as a sim that had been friends with members of the missing household and they are not even listed under the relationships tab.&nbsp; I didn't make ANY changes to my game in between when I logged off and logged back on. I've made sure that the save files are stored in the right place. I didn't save the household to gallery. It is extremely frustrating as I had so much progress made with that household.

This happened to one of my households just now! Can't seem to recover the culled household with or without mods.&nbsp;

I found I was able to recover it by reverting to an earlier save I had made on the save file, instead of the last save I made before they disappeared. It set me back an in game day’s worth of progress but I recovered. However, when I had gotten off the game and then later went back on, the household was once again completely gone. I’d hate to think I’ll have to keep jumping back in time, basically losing bits of progress each time, every time I want to play. If there’s no solution, I’ll probably try and request a refund because that’s a dealbreaker for me if I can’t actually progress in the game

Check the iCloud/storage on your Mac. If it were a game issue it would affect everyone but it's most likely local to your machine - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared/m-p/10242133#M45493
