@chaoswolfling Please test without your mods. You don't need to save your progress, just find out whether the mods are making any difference.
You can also try moving the bed to somewhere open an unobstructed, like the middle of the living room or outside in the yard.
So I just ran a test without the mods, and bed placement is not the problem & without mods, the "try for baby" interaction worked fine, especially with the carrots and alternative music. I have a son in the legacy challenge now. I would rather not disable all of them just to make that happen every generation I want to "try for baby."

@chaoswolfling Now that you know Try for Baby works without mods, you can test your mods and only remove the one that's causing the problem. If you have a lot of mods to sort through, the 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient:
