Sims 4 is stuck on infinite loading screen?

I have a Dell Inspiron 14 Laptop and I am trying to play TS4 and for some reason it isn't working, I was stuck on the loading screen that comes before the main menu screen and wasn't able to close it...

Ponjuuko2 Please remove your Mods folder if there's anything inside other than Resource.cfg.

If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.

If that doesn't help either, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

What do you do if your first suggestion worked? I moved the folder, and could play just fine with a new game.

But I don't want to completely loose the game I am currently playing?

1snyvost87aw If the game works without mods, it's time to find out which mod is your problem. Start at Previously Broken mods and CC (mods listed there have no working update) and the other pinned threads in this forum.

  I don't use mods. But I was able to create a new game when I moved the whole folder, as outlined above.
