Sims 4 keeps crashing whenever I attempt to travel
I’ve tried contacting ea support for this but they were no help whatsoever, so I’m turning to this place.
My game keeps crashing whenever I attempt to travel. I’m able to click on the place I want to travel to, but the crashing occurs when I’m on the loading screen- the game will load for a bit before freezing and crashing.
This started occurring after I bought both high school years and wedding stories. I also have mods and cc- all of my mods are updated and I deleted any cc that was broken and duplicated.
I’ve also deleted my localthumbcache.package and repaired my game multiple times.
So I’m wondering if this is only happening because I bought high school years and wedding stories because of how buggy those packs were reported as or if it’s something entirely different.
Any help is welcomed, and thank you in advance for any help. I just really want to stop my game from crashing, it’s been like this since I bought high school years and wedding stories on January 1st ☹️
- @milligramspoison The files aren't really readable to anyone but EA but they can give some indications.
If you haven't tested without mods/cc yet than that's your first step though. Check if it still crashes on a vanilla game and if it doesn't, you need to weed through your mods/cc
