Sims 4 Not Launching In Origin for Mac?
I've noticed that PC users are being forced into migrating over to the EA app, and I'm wondering how this migration is affecting Mac users who only have Origin to use?
Currently, as a Mac user, I'm unable to even launch games via Origin. Specifically, Sims 4.
In addition, while my games and purchased DLC and expansion packs are in my library, all hours played for my games have been reset to 0 as if never opened. It's odd.
I recently tried to launch Sims 4, only to have the Origin client minimize then re-open to the game library. No matter what I do, Sims 4 won't launch. I've re-started my computer, checked for game updates, and repaired my game/expansions. Nothing is working.
Unfortunately, the blanket suggestion given to many players in clearing the Origin cache and/or re-downloading the client also isn't working. It's pretty frustrating.
If this is an Origin/EA back-end problem, how long until this will be fixed?
