sims 4-not letting me click on objects or options

Product: The Sims 4Platform:PCWhich language are you playing the game in? EnglishHow often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)What is your current game version number? 1.51.77.1020What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all expansions except famous. dine out and outdoor retreat game packs. laundry, toddler, backyard, movie stuff packs. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am not sureWhat happens when the bug occurs? I try to click on objects, such as the couch, or click on options, such as play game when I click the computer, but the object/option either wont highlight at all, or will highlight and wont let me click on it. Also, many houses and other public places do the same thing, where they either don't highlight or they do highlight but do not let me click on them. What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to click on any objects or houses, or choose options for things when my mouse is over top of those things.Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure&nbsp;‌I did recently download the laundry day stuff pack, but the issue that is occurring started happening maybe two days later, not immediately.&nbsp;

while playing the game, certain objects and options will not highlight, or sometimes they highlight but will not allow you to select them. Also, many households and other public places won't highlight or allow me to click on them

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files &nbsp;and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
Tray Folder
Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I got it from the recent update to but i did everything on the list and it still doesn't work.
