I have mods installed. I open my game and its fine but when I press new game, its just stays on the white screen. I have tried deleting the game and re- installing it but that didn't work. It works without mods. I just got all new mods and cc so they are not the problem. I want to play the sims but just cant rn
79qbipmzjuch It sounds like you've established that the problem is very much your mods. The fact that the game works without them is definitive. Just because the mods and cc are "new" doesn't mean they're fully compatible with the current patch. Please see this post for a list of mods and cc currently known to break CAS:
For anything not on that list, you'll need to test it yourself. The 50/50 method can make the process a lot more efficient.

Really depends on what mods you are using. If you're using the extra traits mods, definitely stick with Chingyu as they update regularly. The others .... not so much. A little while back, there was a problem exactly like what you've described and it was a trait mod - I just can't remember which one.
Best solution, is to do the 1 by 1 deal. Basically, delete all your mods, then re-install them 1 by 1 until you find the mod causing the issue.
