Sims 4 realm of magic cannot ask to learn magic

I’m playing my normal two person household. One of my sims was able to ask a sage how to learn magic and the other on can only have generic sim to sim interaction the option to ask to learn doesn’t p...

@Brooklyn270 Yes, it's because you're also a mermaid. You can only be one type of supernatural being.
