Sims 4 Shader Lists& possibility of help on getting alpha editable hair to work?

One of the things I enjoy most in the Sims series is custom content, especially hair, that lets me recreate the 1940's. Without talented artists being able to recreate the classic hair of that era then a large portion of my enjoyment of the game will be missing. :(
