Sims 4 UI disappearing, and being unplayable.

Since the last update (April 26, 2022) my sims game has become unplayable (literally).

anytime I open a save or make a new one within 5 minutes of playing half of my UI disappears, and it makes it look like I’m playing in tab mode. When this happens I’m unable to click on anything…or even leave the game, this obviously leaves the game unplayable.

i have a done everything I know to try and fix this issue. From updating mods, to removing them. And it’s even come to me having to uninstall, then reinstall the game. Obviously, after that I reinstalled the updated Mods (because I find the game becomes a bore without them)…so basically I am unable to use any mods in my game since the update, And I find the game to be unplayable without them.

I love the sims and have been playing for years! does anyone have any idea as to what I can do?

Do you use any mods that affect the UI?  If you do, that's probably it.  I do know that there has been an update since the patch for UI Cheats so if you use it, you should make sure you've got the latest version.

If it isn't that, then I suggest you pull your mods out and start a vanilla save for testing.  Then start adding mods a few at the time and testing until you find the one causing the issue.  Then either look for an update or remove it.  Continue doing that until you've tested everything just to be sure that you don't have another one that's out of date.  Or you could just use the 50/50 method if you have a lot of mods.  You probably don't need to look at your CC but if you go through all your mods and don't find one that is broken, then go through your CC to see if something in that is causing your problem.

    Hope this helps.
