Sims are not doing any task/action

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC (Mac)
Which language are you playing the game in? German
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.315.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?Everything except kits/sets
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just start the game and let a family move to an apartment (for rent). The Sims are able to do 2 or 3 actions and then they will stop and just stand or never be finished with the action.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims won't do any action or never be finished withe their current action.
What do you expect to see? Sims doing the things I tell them to do.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Nothing.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I created a new House (for rent) and let them move there. It works for a few moments and then it occurs. I thought that the update might help, but it didn't.

I am not able to play Sims because of this problem. Restart and Cheats are not helping, also created a new game and delete the config file. Also controlled the file in origin and repaired it. I really hope, that someone could help me so that my sims are able to do anything.

@Moonylight Okay, so let's look at that build that issues are happening in. Do you have a lot of stuff in the Shared spaces? If so, try deleting some of it and let me know if that helps

HI @Moonylight If you test in a new save using a game-made house and household, do you have the same issue?

@Moonylight Okay, so let's look at that build that issues are happening in. Do you have a lot of stuff in the Shared spaces? If so, try deleting some of it and let me know if that helps

I don't have so much stuff in that building, but you are right. I put that building on a smaller space and some stuff was deleted by that. Suddenly my Sims are able to live a normal Sims-Life. It is a little bit sad, that I couldn't use my work. Thank you for helping! 🙂

@Moonylight Do you have any sense at the moment of which items were removed? Was it things like build-mode fencing? interactable items or just decor? any debug items?

I don’t have any mods and I own every expansion pack and stuff pack. I created a new save and I have bugs during half of my gameplay and it makes it very difficult to play. My sims will freeze and not move but the commands will still cycle but nothing gets done, 3 of my plants died because they couldn’t get weeded and when it finally reset they died. The other plants constantly get stuck with weeds and when I use the cheat to reset sims/objects my sims end up frozen with their arms straight out or the weeds grow back immediately. Or my sims will be able to do the command but the world will be unaffected, such as I’ll have them vacuum but the house just gets dirtier and never clean. It’s tiring 😭

@Jpaulmund If you have no mods or CC, please head to Bug Reports to "me too" the existing report about weeding. There's also a master post about lag at https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Lags-way-too-much-after-the-new-expansion-pack-for-rent/m-p/13288616 that might be a good starting point. This forum is now focused on people who are having issues when using mods/CC.

I know this is an old post but I just had the same exact error. With your suggestion, I deleted a gate from a fence around my new chicken coop and immediately the game started to work properly. I don't know if it has to do with the setting on the gate "No Chickens". I've had other gates on the property that seemed to be fine, but this one caused issues.
