Hello there, I was playing the sims today and wanted to meet some new people, I went to go make a friend and I couldnt talk to anyone no interaction buttons. The only way to talk to people is if my sim starts a conversation herslef without me doing anything or talking to her pre-existing friends. Ive tried resetting the game and nothing seems to work, please help.

UPDATE: i went into my mods folders and im on mac so some of my mods uninstalled (they were still there i just needed to download it again) turns maybe a mod needed the files to run right but i can finally talk to sims again thank you fir everyones help

Do you have any mods installed which affect social interactions or UI?

I'm having the same problem. It's making the game completely pointless to play.

I dont have UI but I have an adult mod, slice of life, an explore mod, MC commander, and a personality mod (when talking to a sim it gives you a characteristic) im not sure if it might be the personality mods but ive never had a problem with these mods, might just be out of date?

Thank you so much! Reinstalled some of my mods (Explore mod, Slice of Life, UI Cheats, MCCC) and I can finally talk to other sims!

I'm having this same problem. I even updated all my mods, and repaired my game but nothing is working.

I dont use mods but my sim can only talk to sim it alredy know new people only take pic whit fan or other * is happening all after one patch

@FluffyShadow30 same with me but for some reason it got fixed for me but now i got the same issue again. All problems started after a patch. Did you find a solution?
